They had one of the best views in the house, so to speak. Gigantic bursts of light that then showered down upon, reflecting upon the river below. They were Muggle-made, so not as imaginative as Wizarding fireworks, which seemed to have a life of their own. Even so, they were impressive, causing Anthony to gape in wonder. At this elevation, the wind chill was particularly cruel, and Anthony briefly considered what sort of spell he could use that would help block the cold. Alicia standing closer to him was all he needed to keep from casting a spell - he liked having her near, and slyly managed to twine his arm around her shoulders as the show progressed.
"Aren't you glad you came?" he asked, smirking. His would've been happy if anybody had accepted his invitation, and wouldn't have minded if others had joined. It was just luck that Alicia agreed to come and that they were alone. He didn't really expect anything more from her, since Alicia was even against being called his 'date' for the night. In fact, he felt he was pushing his luck by putting his arm around her.
