He watched her perform her aerial acrobatics, frowning amusedly and smiling up at her as she ruffled his hair. He didn't fix it, the wind was already doing havoc to the style, and he left it. If he could have seen the state of the locks sticking out at strange angles, he would have jumped to it, but fortunately he couldn't. "Well, if I practiced, I'm sure I'd get better." He experimentally lifted one hand, then chickened out as the wind buffeted him from the side and he hurriedly gripped the handle again, grinning at the rush through his chest. It was small, and silly, but enjoyable.
Robbie pursed his lips and nodded his head concedingly. "Okay, sure. I don't mind it, but it's weird when you're doing it." It was like a sister perving on him, and he had one already so it was definitely weird.
"Not exactly," he said, scrunching up his nose and thinking about whether to tell her the story. "It was the first Flying lesson, you know with Hooch and all, and I think I just didn't understand how it was possible, you know?" He shrugged. "I may have plowed face-first into the ground," he said, laughing at the incident now that he wasn't embarrassed about it anymore. "Swore I'd leave it to the kids that could do it."
