"You'd leave the continent?" Terence asked, somewhat surprised. It really was difficult to think about moving on somewhere else, leaving the country, their home, the Falcons. It strengthened Terence's resolve to buckle down, do what he could to protect the family and keep them all together at home. Making up with Daphne was going to be difficult, but even if she hated him, Terence would do what he could to keep her from suffering too. They were both angry, but they were also family. "No cowboy hats," Terence replied, expression souring. He couldn't imagine raising a proper family in America, it didn't seem possible. "But South Africa, we could go on safari," he said with a grin.
"You have been working quite hard lately, that in addition to all the other pressure we're dealing with isn't good for you," he acknowledged. "That's odd. At least Rose knows how to deal with creatures, right? Perhaps you could set a trap for it," Terence suggested. Rose had mentioned repainting their door, but now that their visitor was bothering Astoria, perhaps Terence needed to be involved.
"Well, I think it's time you got some proper sleep. Would you like something to drink before bed? A snack?" Terence asked, craning his neck to look down at Astoria's face.
