Astoria made a mental note to smile more around him. They could go to each other with their problems but she should try harder to make sure he was happy. If seeing her smile made him worry even a little bit less it was worth it. She should pester Adrian to take him out more, made sure he relaxed.
"I don't know. France is always nice, but it's almost too close to home. It be hard to be that close and yet that far away. Maybe South Africa? It's beautiful there and some of the population is practically English." Australia was out, far too rough for her liking. "No, never America," she said disdainfully, scrunching up her nose in distaste. "Although they'd never think to look for us there. I could see you with a cowboy hat," she said, giggling a bit as she looked at him.
"Stress, same as everything else." She curled against him, content to watch a piece of dust float in front of her, visible against the backdrop of his living room. "Some sort of creature keeps tapping at the widows and scratching outside. Can never get any sleep." She knew she couldn't use his spare room too much or she'd never leave, but she was happy he made the offer.
