"Good," Terence replied with a nod. "That's what I like to see," he added, returning Astoria's smile. She didn't smile often enough, nobody did anymore, but Terence hated how much exposure Astoria had experienced to the recent evils of the world. The moment was fleeting, but it did make Terence feel better.
"But if you had to, Astoria, where would you go?" Terence asked, still trying to get an answer out of her. It'd help him know where he could begin to make arrangements. If they had to flee the country, Terence wanted their alternative to be somewhere that Astoria would at least enjoy. "I don't know, love, it's so strange to think about. Maybe France? Or Italy? The Quidditch leagues are always competitive there," he answered. "Maybe America if there were no other options," Terence added with a smirk.
"What's been bothering you?" he asked, patting her back softly. They were all beginning to feel the Ministry's new regulations, that was sure, but Terence was more bothered to hear that Astoria wasn't sleeping properly. "You should stay tonight, I won't accept no for an answer, but if you need more time, the spare room's yours," he offered.
