Astoria couldn't imagine leaving. Everything was here. Her family, her families' work and legacy. You couldn't pack that up and take it someone with you. Where would they even go? The option didn't hurt however. It was better to leave than to die, wasn't it? She wouldn't make a very good martyr. "Only as a last resort? It might be a good idea. Not that we'd need it, but just in case. We'd all go together?" She couldn't leave anyone behind, including Daphne. She wondered if she'd go if Dean refused.
"I don't want to go home," she said sternly, perhaps even a bit bitterly. She hated being there. Hated the taps on the windows and the animals outside scratching at the doors so she couldn't sleep. She hated knowing that they could be outside, watching her. Her face softened as she tried to relax against him, her fingers bringing his hand to hold in her own. "I want to stay here until you're sick of me but I need to make sure she's fine. You'd want her to do the same for me. Maybe I could send her an owl?"
