It was simply a sign of the times. More restrictions and rules had been placed on their kind, being lumped in with terrorists was only likely to bring out this sort of drastic reaction. The idea of Death Eaters banding together again was frightening, the last war had been utterly miserable, but at the same time, it seemed that the time had come for somebody to stand up for proper society. He just wished that Astoria hadn't been caught up in the middle of it all. She seemed scared, which was to be expected, but even being a bit shaken was better than being injured.
"Come here, love," Terence said as he pulled Astoria closer and wrapped his arms around her. He was glad that, if her actions were any indication, Astoria seemed to innately trust Terence. He'd always tried to protect her from all the bad in the world, and she was his advocate. It was reassuring to know that she depended on him, even when they'd exchanged words earlier in the day. Terence tucked Astoria in beneath his chin and gave her a quick squeeze. "Everything's alright now," he said reassuringly.
