Who: Oliver and Jonathan Where: Their flat What: After Oliver's morning workout When: Early Friday morning Rating: Probably high
Oliver always tried to be really quiet when he got up in the morning for a run. However, it often seemed to be the harder that he tried to be quiet, the louder he inevitably was. There really wasn't much he could do about it. He wasn't about to sacrifice his morning runs anytime soon. He rather liked running in the morning; he thought it had something to do with all the early morning practices he had put the Gryffindor Quidditch team through back at school. It was just much quieter in the morning. There was less a chance of being disturbed. There were some people out, but they rarely wanted to interrupt him.
He slipped his clothes on in the dark; Seeker padded after him for a little while. She leaped up on the counter when he went to get some water. She pressed in against his hand, and he petted her for awhile before scooping her up. She mewled at him, obviously protesting such treatment. However, he took her back into the bedroom and put her under the covers, hoping that she would decide to curl up with Jonathan. Every now and then, he would get her to lay on his head, but somehow, he didn't think it was the worth the effort this morning. It was far more beneficial to teach her to attack his inkwell.
Oliver set off, starting the pace off at a brisk jog. It was still quite cold, but not uncomfortably so this morning. The cold was maybe one thing that he didn't like about the morning, especially in the winter. In the summer, it was appreciated, and in the fall it helped to wake him up. In the winter, it became unendurable. It was even worse when he came back covered in snow and made a mess everywhere.
Oliver looped his way around the area they lived, running for about an hour, before he headed back to his flat. He didn't know if Jonathan would be back yet or not, so he tried to keep quiet. He slipped off his shoes and stripped off his clothes. When he went into the bedroom, he wasn't entirely surprised to see that Jonathan was still on his side of the bed. Seeker peeked her head out from underneath the blankets to look at him. Oliver smiled a little, wandered over to the bed, and pressed a kiss to the side of Jonathan's head. Before the other could fully wake, he retreated to the shower, already knowing the lecture he would get if he tried to get back into bed now.
