And just like that Astoria’s room went back to being pristine and perfect in a way Rose could only hope to emulate. The room was an extension of her friend, comforting, well put together and comfortably stylish. “Oh right.” Comfortable around her friend, if not the thoughts on her mind, she crossed her legs and told herself to relax. It was simply a horrible trick someone had played on her but…
“Is he?” She was glad for him, he’d been a lot of fun on their night out and more importantly he’d kept quiet about that time they’d broken the rules. “He’s a good player and a nice bloke, I’m glad he’s getting a game. And that Terence is looking better, looks like plenty of bed and couch rest did the trick.” And Rose was going to keep quiet on any part she might have played in the couch resting for as long as she could get away with it. “I-I don’t know Astoria. I’d like to go but some..I’ve been thinking about my brother. Phillip. Maybe I should go visit him or at least go home o something.”
Rose didn’t often talk about her brother and up until that moment in the living room had forgotten the pain of losing him. “Will you ah be going to the match?”
