It didn’t even occur to her to draw her wand as she pushed open the door to Astorias room. Its pristine looks were marred slightly by the debris of the doll and she took one look at it and realised that something was very wrong.
Rose was still too shaken by her own delivery to recognise the relevance of the box or how it was identical to the one she’d receive but she saw the look on her friends face and moved forward instinctively towards he. “Astoria?” What had happened? What had occurred to put that look in her friends eyes and more than that, why hadn’t she said anything? Had something happened whilst she’d been too selfishly occupied with her own thoughts.
“What happened? Did..did something happen?” Hesitancy crept into her voice but the worry and concern was evident in her eyes. Right now, the most important thing was to ensure that her friend and flatmate was alight.
