Rose was oblivious to the thoughts going on in Seamus’ head; had she been aware, there was a good chance that she would have taken her revenge with a well aimed cushion sent hurtling in his direction.
“I understand and I am awed by it,” She couldn’t keep her face straight at the notion of Seamus being the human equivalent of chocolate to the opposite sex. He was adorable and she’d champion his cause to anyone who listened but that? Was not even close to an image she ever wanted to consider. “Oy,” she said with a sharp look at his joke about flirting with Astoria. “Daphne? If you chatted up Astoria, you’d give Daphne a fit not to mention Terence wouldn’t be overjoyed. I however, would think it was adorable. Astoria’s very proper and I hardly ever get to see you in formal robes.”
Leaning into his embrace seemed natural and she was careful not to wobble her bottle of butterbeer as she settled comfortably against him. “Oh she’s just a bit confused. She’s um, well she’s been going on dates with this boy who’s a bit older and kissing him and then the other day she found herself kissing another boy. “ With a voice dry from telling about her ‘friend’, Rose took a sip from her drink. “She doesn’t know what to do since she likes both of them and well, I didn’t know what to tell her. You’re a boy, does kissing both of them make her a horrible person?”
