At Seamus’ appearance, Rose covered her mouth to hide the smile behind her hand. “I didn’t know you had aspirations to become a snowman. I think you’ll make a very charming one, especially when you add in the carrot nose and coal eyes but um, I’m pretty sure that not everyone begins to practice in mid-April.” Stepping through the flames, she tugged at the ends of her cardigan to pull it tighter against the chill.
Rose’s reaction to her friends comment about having a ‘bird’ on his sofa was simply a raised eyebrow and a look towards the offending sofa to check for evidence he’d smuggled a woman deeper into the cushions to hide her. “If you had then you would currently be receiving a lecture on the due care and attention for Aviary creatures and,” the thought had her wrinkling her nose before continuing “if you mean the other sort of ‘bird’ then I’d have to berate you for not locking your floo. Really Seamus, should you wish to get closer to a witch on your couch, the sensible thing to do is to ensure some form of privacy and it’s a very simple charm.” Sliding a glance towards the blond, Rose tried to keep the mischief out of her voice at the thought of teasing him slightly. “I could teach it to you, for future reference and of course, to save my traumatized eyes.”
