Something semed a little off about Clint at the moment, not in the way that she'd like think he wasn't himself or something or like think he was from another universe. No, he was definitely her Clint - but she could tell he had gone off in his head about something else that wasn't exactly what they were talking about and Kate took a little bit of a moment to squint rather boldly at him - deciphering whether or not she wanted to try and pull him out of whereever he'd gone or save it for later. She could have done it, ya know, been the pest he knew her to be.
Right now just didn't seem the time, though. There were more important pieces of business.
"As if I'd let you live on your own." She said, rolling her eyes, "All you'd do is feed yourself and the Lucky's pizza three meals a day and then you'd get like fat or something and we really can't have that. How will you keep being a lady killer if you don't keep yourself inshape, Jerkeye?" She smirked at him - she wasn't trying to pull him out of his head with knowledge about where he'd gone - but that didn't mean she couldn't pull him out with a bit of that trademark wit. "Plus, shopping for one sucks. You always let food go to waste and you can't even boil water reliably. You need me to live with you."
The smirked faded just slightly as she turned back to the slightly more serious topic, "Just something to put on the to-do list then." She added, the statement was quiet as she took a step away from the bench, immediately turning back to the positive, "So why don't you give me a little tour to the apartment, then?"
