Draco, angry with Harry, kicked him out of his flat on Christmas day. Harry didn't even know what he said or did wrong. In his mind, things had been quite simple; still, he didn't know what to do.
It was Christmas morning and he had nowhere else to go. He could have Apparated to the Burrow and surprised them with a visit, but he felt like that would be cheating. He would be trying to comfort himself while Draco hurt. Even if Harry had no idea why Draco hurt.
He could have Apparated to Grimmauld Place, but the idea of being there alone, was even more depressing. Harry wanted Draco. He wanted his forgiveness and he wanted to curl up next to Draco in bed and just stay there.
He walked and walked in the snow away from Draco's place and didn't know where he was going, but he kept walking. Eventually he stopped by a lamppost and leaned against it. He wanted to cry, but it was so cold and snowy that his tears would only freeze up on his face.
No Harry was not going to take this from Draco. He was not going to let Draco push him away and not explain himself. He knew that it was probably something Draco was insecure about and instead of wanting to talk about it; Draco probably thought that kicking Draco out was the best bet. But Harry knew better.
Determined to talk about whatever was bothering Draco, Harry decided to Apparate back to Draco's flat.
He knocked firmly on the door as soon as he arrived and it took a while for Draco to open the door. When Draco did open the door, he looked like he'd been crying.
"You came back," Draco said, looking startled.
"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because I love you and you're being stupid."
"You don't even know why I told you to leave."
"No, I don't. But I won't leave."
Draco looked at him, confused.
"I know I can be stupid, too. But, I don't want to leave. I'd rather be stupid together, than be stupid apart."
