HERE BE FLUFF, YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED.
Title: Christmas Shopping
Fandom: Harry Potter
Pairing: Harry/Neville
Rating: PG
Word count: Still over a 100, dang it.
Summary: Harry wants Neville's Christmas to be perfect.
"So what are you going to do with your day off?"
"Christmas shopping."
Neville looked around their sitting room and then at Harry in disbelief. "You've already bought out all of Diagon Alley, as it is I don't know how we're going to cart all of these to the Burrow."
"We're wizards, remember. And, anyway, our friends presents are in the store cupboard."
"But then who are those fo...oh. Oh!"
One day, Harry thought, he might get tired of spoiling Neville. Which would be about the time Neville ever took it for granted; approximately never. And before he could object...
"Do you remember the first Christmas we shared?"
"Yeah, the year of the tournament."
"The year I behaved like a ruddy Prat and ignored you mooning over, well never mind. And I didn't get you a present either."
"But I didn't give you a present, either Harry."
"Yeah, you did. All year. I seem to remember you were the only person who never thought I put my name in the Goblet, or wanted to lose, or who thought I couldn't do it. And remember our second Christmas."
Neville's face fell a bit as he remembered all too well that Christmas, rallying though he reminded Harry, "but we weren't together then."
"We could have been though if I hadn't been so Bloody Stupid. That's why our first real Christmas is going to be as perfect as I can make it for you, and that includes fixing it so you don't have to deal with rude store clerks and grabby shoppers."
"We could go together, and get Hot Chocolate afterwards. I can get off at noon."
"And what about the crowds?"
"That's part of the fun, and if one particular shopper wants to get grabby with me, I won't mind at all."
