Severus pinched the bridge of his nose as the bane of his existence entered his office without knocking.
"Get out, Potter," Severus snarled.
"If I recall correctly, you invited me here, Severus."
"I invited you here to break a curse, not chase me all over the castle."
"I fully intend to break the curse. That's why Deputy Headmistress McGonagall graciously put me up in teacher's rooms and told me to stay as long as I needed to."
"Blast the old interfering cat, but I am Headmaster. Therefore, my authority supersedes Minerva's, and I'm telling you to get out."
"Please, Severus," Harry's green eyes implored, "let me stay. I can help, honestly. Just give me a chance. Maybe we could discuss it over dinner this evening?"
"I'm not discussing anything with you, Potter. Now, get out of my office."
Harry shrugged his shoulders. "Stubborn git!" he mumbled under his breath. "All right, Severus, have it your way, but I'm not leaving the castle. I have a curse to break. I'll see you later then."
Severus breathed a sigh of relief as soon as Harry was out of sight. It was difficult at times to resist the young man's advances. Severus spent many a sleepless night fantasising about an infuriating, simply gorgeous, messy-haired wizard, but it would be improper to take advantage of someone under a love spell. As Headmaster, Severus had a reputation to uphold.
Severus suddenly snickered to himself. 'What reputation?' Severus thought. The old coot before him had practically run Hogwarts reputation into the ground. How could Severus possibly do any worse?

"Hermione, have ya had any luck?"
"I'm afraid not, Hagrid. There is nothing in Hogwarts library about how to break The One Footers love spell."
"The One Footers?" Hagrid asked wide-eyed.
"Yes, they are magical candy makers."
"Aye, I know who they are. I saved one of the little fellow's lives several years ago."
"Hagrid!" Hermione shouted. "That's brilliant! You can go visit them and ask for the antidote."
"I wish Sev'rus had told me sooner. I know the head candy maker personally. It was his grandson that I fished out of the river."
Hermione hugged the half giant. "You're a life saver, Hagrid. Headmaster Snape will be thrilled."

Severus entered his private chambers. A tingled of magic crept up his spine. Someone had breached his wards. On the bed, lay a beautifully carved silver music box. It had a snake design with inset emeralds for the eyes. Severus picked up the music box and opened lid. Closing his eyes, Severus listened to the sweet love song the music box played.
Severus sat the box down hard on his nightstand, mentally chiding himself for such ridiculous notions.
Just then, a knock sounded on his door. He didn't have to be psychic to know who was knocking.
Severus stalked to the door, flinging it open with a fury. "What do you want now, Potter?"
Harry smiled, holding up a bottle of wine and two glasses. "A drink, Severus, will you have just one drink with me?"
Severus sighed dramatically, and ushered the young man into his quarters.
