He was up before dawn.

Arthur sat futilely as all the outdoor chores and storm preparations were done for him by his son.    When he was called inside for lunch, said son apparated to Hogsmeade and then it was just a quick juant to Hagrid's hut.

An afternoon rounding up Hagrid's study aids should have tired him, but he was still restless as he headed back to the cottege.

Wood needed to be chopped, and mindless of the severly dropping temperature, he doffed his shirt and set to work.  There was much to be said for doing some things without aid of magic, though the occasional warming charm did help.

Finally, the wind picked up and the flakes began to blow about him, and the ever darkening sky closed in, and he was forced inside.

Inside where the snow blind conditions of the Blizzard that was rapidly encrouching on them would force him to stay.

Inside, where he would be restless and aching.

Inside, where...

the scent of Beef Stew simmering in red wine caught his attention.   Scanning the room, he looked for the other man, his eyes taking in the popcorn maker next to the fire as well as the tin of kernals.   Smiling as Neville slipped the still unbottoned shirt off his freckled torso, there was definitely something to be said for doing some things without magic.

Later raising his head from his feast by the fire, the stew still untouched, Charlie looked out the window at the storm and changed his mind.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Ahhh, lovely! I'll bet Charlie was glad he came in from the cold.
