Who: Marlene McKinnon and Alastor Moody What: Meeting for tea and hearing about an idea When: After Marlene's journal post Where: The Three Broomsticks Status: In Progress
Marlene was incredibly curious by the time she entered the bar at the Three Broomsticks. Excited as well, at the prospect of having something useful to do again. Without her work, as an Auror and as part of the Order, she was feeling fairly redundant and, dare she say it, bored. Even with being transported to another world, meeting people from different times and being held at the whims of a power hungry 'King'. She was still, really, bored.
The idea of working for Alastor Moody again motivated her as well. He may have been from an earlier time than her, but she remembered working for him during the war, and being in awe of his abilities.
She crossed the room, offering a polite smile to the woman behind the bar, and sat at an empty table, far away from the bar and tucked into a corner away from any prying ears, more out of habit than anything else. From her seat she could watch the door, but any conversations could still be private. It was just the way she was now, after years of secret meetings and spying on Death Eaters, even the most innocent of meetings she now treated with the same need for protections.
