Tonks felt as awkward around Remus as Remus felt around her, and she'd also made a point of trying not to be alone with him. In many ways, Teddy still made her quite nervous as well, and she wanted to keep her sanity while keeping things peaceful as much as she could.
It had to happen eventually though, the two of them on their own, and when she walked into the sitting room with a cup of hot cocoa, she gave him a small smile and took a seat. If she walked out now, he would know she was avoiding him, and the last thing she wanted was to cause strife.
"Wotcher," she said easily. "I didn't realise you were in here, else I'd have brought you a hot cocoa as well. Would you like some? There's still some in kitchen."
