WHO: Albus Dumbledore and Alastor Moody WHEN: Afternoon, March 12th WHERE: The forest WHAT: Moody and Albus are scouting the area. RATING: TBD
Alastor had noticed the disappearance as soon has he had gone out for his morning jog. Given the recent notes, he was more than suspicious about this turn of events. However, if these people were really gone that meant that there was a great deal of freedom at least to explore the surroundings that they found themselves in. First was the forest, looking for any possible set up already laid or areas that would be easy to conceal operatives. There would have to be another survey on the day of the assigned meeting, but a once through could tell them a great deal of information now. After the forest there was the Palace. If the king and his kind were gone, that meant a wonderful oppurtunity to look at what they might possibly be hiding. Hopefuly the locks on the doors wouldn't prove too bothersome.
So Alastor jogged out to the edge of the forest, waiting for Albus once he got there. The familiar thrill of actually getting to do some work to try and get to the bottom of things buzzed through him. This sitting around doing nothing and watching this king do whatever he wanted was driving Alastor crazy. But with Albus here, even if the man was younger than when Alastor knew him more personally, that meant he had someone he could trust. These other order members, none of them were people he knew and so far he had not been able to get ahold of one on a regular basis. So that meant he stood there, waiting for the other man to show up.
