Eithne scowled at the both of them. Both had now called her girl. Eithne would have preferred her name. It was only slightly better than being called a child, but only by a small margin. She scowled and continued to smoke, trying to think of something else to say about the Lady. What had rubbed her so wrong? It wasn't just the title, although that was part of it. Eithne had been por her entire life. She'd lived in an alleyway, in the gutter, in a field, and many other empty places while the rich slept soundly in feather beds. Living off the sweat of other people. It was disgusting, really. If the Lady had ever actually hoed a patch of land in her life maybe Eithne would have felt something, but she hadn't. And wouldn't.
"Which means twice the work if she upsets someone here. Cutting a short deal will only end in bloodshed. No one likes to be sold short, or given less than what something is worth." Eithne flicked some of the ash onto the floor.
"She also seems like someone willing to do anything to get the upper hand which brings me back to my previous statement." The sharp look from Eragos said enough to make Eithne shut her mouth.
