It wasn't that she didn't find a change of scenery interesting, it's just that it wasn't exactly what she'd been expecting. Eithne had been expecting a fight from the start and without that she was awfully bored with everything here. The alcohol she had in her flask wasn't exactly the thing to keep her going all night, but since they were all ready for bed there was no time to suggest finding the local tavern. Eithne was settled in one of those hard chair, reclining as much as she could with one leg bent with the ankle laying over her other knee. She had a cigarette burning in one of her hands. She'd unwrapped them carefully when they'd first entered the room. The bindings and gloves were stuffed into her bag, the heavy furs were gone, and now Eithne was just relaxing and smoking a cigarette.
She'd been thinking about how boring it was in this town, just a second ago, when Eragos inturrupted her thoughts. She sat further back and took another puff from the cigarette. What did she think of the lady? She wanted things, greedy in the way only Lords and Ladies could be. She thought she was very important, which was kind of funny because Eithne had never heard of her before they got this assignment, she also thought that flaunting that importance was going to impress people. She didn't like Vargis, which was a shame because Vargis was a lot funnier than Eragos most of the time. And it seemed, in a way, the woman wanted to impress Eragos with something. Good luck with that.
"She's ugly, annoying, and a sausage wallet if I've ever seen one."
It wasn't meant to shut up Eragos, in fact it was meant to make everyone laugh. Only, the problem with trying to make everyone laugh was that Eragos just didn't do that as often as he should. It was like the man was born scowling, and he'd scowl until he died. Eithne liked to laugh as much as she liked to fight, which was a lot. Almost as much as she liked to drink, and to smoke, and enjoy herself in other ways. She sat forward and placed her hands on her knee and over her ankle and dangled the cigarette over the floor.
