"I'm not going to agree that you're right!" Aeotha snapped at him. She threw her arms into the air. Skandra was absolutely infuriating. He always had to be right, even when he wasn't right. Aeotha was perfectly capable of having her own thoughts and feelings on the subject, but just because this was his father she was trying to show him some kindness. Some kindness. She was not, however, simply going to bend to his whim. He was wrong about killing his father, or at least wrong that he should do it. But arguing with him got nothing done. it just made him angry and made her angry.
Aeotha glared directly at him when he mentioned her weight. She wanted to point out that if either of them weighed a lot it had to be him. With all of his drinking in excess and the muscle mass alone. He outweighed her on any world, not just the one they were from. She stared at him until he chose a new topic. She would not point out that he was in a foul mood again, and she wouldn't point out that it was making him be an ass to her when all she was doing was telling him exactly what he'd wanted.
Aeotha climbed on and just shook her head. "I know he's not a demonic force, but I'm not exactly powerful on this world. Hampered, really, without my magic. Not that it would have worked against him either way. But I'd like you to consider what you will actually feel like if you killed your own father." Aeotha was serious. "Even if you hate him. Even if you are angry with him, or were angry with him." Aeotha realized then, that it was like talking to a wall. Since when had Skandra cared about killing something that was in his way?
She shook her head.
"We'll find Líobhan, and do what we can for anyone else trapped here. If we have to kill your father, or any of his men in order to save those people that are trapped here then we will." But Aeotha would try to kill Gershul first. Even if that upset Skandra. She couldn't allow him to kill his own father.
