Vedette turned her head to look at Koe. He had kept her secret. Her name, which she only changed to protect herself from... what. Iluq was a strange name for humans to say, and they never said it correctly. It also tied her firmly to being a dragon, whereas Vedette sounded much more human. But she was looking at Koe and he had a way of knocking all those other thoughts out of her head. He was still asking her if she was alright with continuing this journey together. She liked that. Was it care that kept him wondering such things, or was it simply a hope that she might go? Young as she was, she didn't know what help she really could be. Especially against such an evil being as that witch.
But she would stand beside what her father had told her and what she had told them.
"I will stay." She said finally. "Even though I'm tempted to run away. It's not because of that witch that I want to go, it's because.." Vedette shook her head. "It doesn't matter. I stand beside what I said before. if I go, then who will stand in my place to protect the world? I will stay and fight this witch. Of course I'd like it if Horon and Mirram didn't go around and call us Lord and Lady dragon. We do have names." She glanced away from Koe and a smile flickered on her lips. She now looked at Horon.
"It kind of gives us away, doesn't it?" With that her eyes were back on Koe.
