Ithacles squinted one eye and spat chewed carrot out into the snow. It was bright against the white, orange like the sun. he tossed the half eaten thing away into the forest and imagined a rabbit finding it.
He laughed at Vedette, quietly. There really wasn't anyone for a hundred yards, he'd made sure of it when sneaking his flask. Not that anyone could really do anything to him. He was just that type of man.
"You let her sweat that out for a week? Sorry. I would have told her myself but I thought it was best to pretend the entire night didn't even occur--she hates that the most."
