Over the last half hour Vedette had been carefully eating her food, while trying to keep tabs on how much Ithacles was drinking. She tried shove more of her pasta on his plate when they got to that course, and helped herself to anything he wasn't eating when no one was looking. She loved these dinners mostly because she could stuff herself. She had the appetite of a.. well she was a dragon. She didn't know when was enough. Carefully she'd switch Ithacles' wine glass with one of her flutes of water and down his before he could.
He noticed, of course, thinking he'd finished it would get another and finish that one before it got too far away.
A lot of eyes kept finding their way down here and Vedette was sure Lethe was giving Ithacles a very nasty look for how loudly her continued to talk. He wasn't paying much attention to the women who were trying to get his attention by flashing smiles his way or making a loud comment about how wonderful he was with a bow.
He wasn't that good. Vedette was better. But with a sword..
She turned her head and tilted it down, looking down her shoulder at him.
"I do like cold things, although I'm not a very big fan of mint. I'm waiting on that iced.. cream? Though it's long off. Are we having bread? I wasn't paying attention to Lethe when she was announcing things. You can have my bread if we do." She said carefully, quietly.
He had no idea where all his crab had gone earlier, but she had quite a taste for that shellfish. She'd share her bread with him, or her boar. He liked boar.
