He glanced to the left and to the right quickly, as if suspicious of the sound of his own voice. That was probably the most written thing he'd said all day. As if someone else had prepared it for him.
In fact his sister had. Because it was part of a speech he planned to give within a week and he was absolute rubbish at rhetoric.
"Yes, inside. We don't tolerate tardiness in His Majesty's military."
He cleared his throat and put on the best expression of severe authority he could muster. Then he promptly tapped her on the forehead with his parchment and began the long walk away from her.
