Vedette had begun to convince herself that he was going to walk away without answering her statement and go straight to his father to speak of the outrage, but at the same time she wasn't sure that any of Ithunvel's family was quick tempered, she'd yet to see it, all of them appeared quite polite and collected people. At least for humans and elves, or half elves. Their lineage was strange enough. She'd never met a half-dragon in her life, and meeting a half-elf was still strange, even if she'd been around them for quite sometime without either knowing.
"You're welcome?" She hoped he wasn't offended.
"I live in the castle currently, I'm sure we've crossed paths a few times. I'm normally off training though." She just remembered she hadn't bowed, or introduced herself. She dropped into a hasty curtsy and bowed her head. "I am Vedette Uthral. I believe your father plans on making me a Sentry for Faustben, or at least a messenger. I am quite fast. I mean at running. And climbing mountains. I grew up in them." She needed to stop rambling.
