Aeotha stared down at both men, obviously insulted that either would actually come after women like that. It had been an accident, ruining the room. She turned her eyes on Onainat, and the anger didn't quite leave them, but softened a little. She was still a bit upset about being exposed like she was. In the circle of priestesses Aeotha had grown up with, it was often said that she was the the most sheltered. It wasn't that she was sheltered, Lorien was a Goddess of sex, it just didn't feel like devotion when one spent half their time in a temple, and half their time sharing beds with random men. No, it wasn't for her.
And being exposed to strangers was definitely not for her.
Still she followed her newest companion down the road and sighed to herself. She hadn't wanted to hit the man, even if she was fully trained to disarm and render an opponent unable to continue fighting her. It was purely for defense, or so she told herself, but the paladin who had beaten it into her, literally, was certainly hoping some priestesses used it in actual combat. Aeotha finally glanced down at what she was wearing and realized the whole thing was backwards. Beautiful. The minute they were away from prying eyes.
"It's better than sleeping in the local jail, I suppose." Aeotha said, anger smothered as she rubbed some mud off her staff. She hurried forward so that she was walking beside Onainat now. "So are you going to explain what happened in the inn?"
