Hahaha, in short, I'm making an attempt to return to good ol' journaling. I was sortakinda active on both LJ and GJ, and have moved to IJ for a fresh start. I have recently moved from Baltimore, MD to Columbus, OH. For the most part, a good deal of my entries will revolve around me exploring my new surroundings (and marveling over the fact I don't need to constantly be on guard concerning possible stabbings or rapings or murderings as I walk down the street.) I'm a writer, or at least I claim to be, and some of my entries will consist of me groaning over the fact that...really, I haven't written a damn thing in a very long time. [i do suppose now i should mention i swear quite a bit, haha.] ... [and that i have a strange obsession with these blockquotethings, in which i somehow forget how to use the shift key].
I am, naturally, a massive Harry Potter geek. I'm also a big Anita Blake fan, though I refuse to acknowledge any of the books set after Obsidian Butterfly. [in my fantasy mind, i have rewritten the end of that book, to consist of Anita Blake dying in a horrible plane crash.] I am completely in love with Instant Star...it's actually more of a love hate relationship, and I make fun of the bad acting and ridiculously clinched plot twists. Soap Opera for teens, saywhat?
Lastly? I'm awesome. At the age of twenty, I've held some pretty nifty jobs, all revolving around animal handling/husbandry. At my last job, I worked as a member of support staff at a research facility. My job essentially consisted of me playing with/feeding/cleaning up after cynos and rhesus macaques. I had a horrible habit of teaching the monkeys tricks without the knowledge of anyone else.
