hey everyone, i did this awhile ago but i am getting back into the habit of coming online more than once a week so i figured it would be nice to make some new friends from the already awesome ones i have. i'm denise i'm 18 (i turn 19 in 2 weeks), and i live in socal. i live the plain and eclectic life of an art student, my concentration in fine arts. i like a lot of things: yoga, sewing, painting, drawing, doodling, soccer, baking, reading, listening to records, art history, and loads of other things i have pretty much forgotten. i listen to an assortment of music i can't classify - lady gaga, the mars volta, incubus, magrudergrind, sonic youth, oingo boingo, graf orlock, are my usual suspects - and my favorite shows are ghost hunters, true blood, weeds, yo gabba gabba, and the science channel to name a few. i am not picky at all when it comes to friends or how frequent people update and/or comment, to be honest. i love to read other people's journals, comment when i can, and try to have a conversation if my brain isn't somewhere else.

i don't update often, but when i do they are usually huge picture posts with little writing. everything is typically public, because i'm pretty open about everything. if that doesn't bother you at all, feel free to add me!
