Interests: This is basically everything I update about, haha. I love music, movies, and books. I'm really into punk, pop-punk and ska. My favorite movies are horror and action - I don't really ever like chick flicks and it's rare that I like comedy. I'm really into Post-Modern writing as far as books go and my favorite author is Dave Eggers. I also really like Orson Scott Card in the sci-fi genre. I love going to coffee shops, hanging out with my friends, shopping, working (such a workaholic!), watching hockey, POLITICS, surfing the net, playing music, decorating, and buying things for people! I love random conversations and comments make me really happy!

Random: I'm a political science major so I definitely follow politics (and this presidential race a lot!). I'm a socialist so I generally tend to lean on the left side of things. I'm a Barack Obama supporter, though I like to hear everyone's opinions, so don't let my political opinions scare you away! I'm a gay rights activist and I'm really into diversity of any kind! My favorite celebrity is Joel Madden and my favorite hockey player is Alex Tanguay. I love the Colorado Avalanche and anything having to do with hockey. I love Flamingos! I also love shoes, purses, and headbands.

ok so this is my first time on ij in a loooong time. i've been on just about every journal site out there at some point or another, but have mainly called lj my home for the last few years. i kind of died off over there in terms of posting entries and now use it pretty much for checking out communities. i returned to ij hoping to get back into keeping a regular journal, but i need friends!

there is a bunch of information about me in a public post in my journal, which you can fine right here! if you want just the basics, then the name's james. i'm a 20 year old resident of florida with an AA degree and a goal to do piercings professionally. my main form of transportation is a bicycle, and that's pretty much how it's been since i was old enough to ride a bike. and if the username didn't give it away, i do live a drug-free lifestyle but i am not some extremist who will only be friends with other drug-free people, and i'm not gonna lecture anyone about their lifestyles, so don't let my lifestyle make you wary of me because i'm really nice. :)
