My name is Stephanie, and I am a French major in a little conservative Christian school in the south. Its pretty amusing to be the only liberal in a town(or so it feels) during election times, but also makes for some heated class discussions. I am 3 months short of Seventeen, and don't really like parties so I plan on spending a night in with a few of my nearest and dearest, sipping red wine and reading sylvia plath poems. I sing opera, and have been studying voice for a few years. When I transfer schools after next semester, I'm tacking on music performance as a double major. I have a nasty habbit of spending money that I dont have on antique dresses. My boyfriend is a grungy, got-left-behind-in-the-90s kid who lives off of Nine Inch Nails and hardly wears anything other than band t-shirts. People tend to do a double take when they look at us, but I find it is that contrast which keeps us fascinated with each other. Basically, I am attracted to those who are my polar opposites, which is probably a good thing, since I am such a fucking eccentric girl.

Anyways, I would love new faces to make this journal feel a bit more like home.

Mandie. I am 18 years old and I am from Southeastern Arkansas. I have migrated (partially anyway) from GreatestJournal to here. I am a freshman in college and today is the first day of my second semester of classes. I sometimes post a lot of pictures, especially of my dogs. I've been good about updating, but not so good about commenting. I am trying to change that. I like metal/rock, rap, and some blues, pop and country music. I like to read and write, but I hate doing math and anything science related.

Okay, so, hi, my names Cassie. I'm 23 years old, married mother of two and no I'm not joking. I've been in and out from greatestjournal to here. I still post a lot over at gj by way of ~yankeelove. Obviously I'm a huge fan of Jessica Simpson. I won't take for no name calling of her or listen or read of her getting cut down. I know opinions are opinions and that's mine. I can be highly random at times, make sense then two seconds later, make no sense at all. I live in the absolutely wonderful state of Tennessee (moved from New York) and I have since I was about 15. I love it here but with my husband being a United States Army soldier, how long I'll be here since marrying him, is debatable. I do role play. Say what you will, but I love it. I love making icons and can be rather picky while making them. I love music, just about all of it but a select few. Obviously I love writing, that's a given because of what I do in my free time. I created this name quite a while ago, before GJ started shipping it's new members over here. For safe keeping I guess it what you could call it. Then for a while, obviously, GJ is getting more and more vague, and I said fuck it. Why try to be on a site that will later be going down in the dumps.

My name is Kathie. Not short for Katherine, or anything like that. Just, Kathie. I do go by Kat, but I figured there are billions of those on the interwebs, so I stick with a name that is a little different than others.

Theres nothing I could really say to make you think I'm interesting, or friend worthy. I'm here to share my thoughts and maybe find some people to do the same. My taste in music shouldn't matter, nor should movies. Obviously it's a plus to be able to have things to talk about.
