I totally understand - I stay where I am because a total of three people play on that server that I know. I tried making characters on other servers so I could play with more LJ people, but I could never manage to be online when they were, which sucked the fun right out of it.
I ended up with half my toons on alliance side, half horde - 27 warlock human, 17 NE druid, 17 Draenei warrior, 22 Draenei shaman, 26 dwarf hunter; 33 BE hunter, 22 BE paladin, 21 BE mage, 21 BE rogue, 9 BE priest.
I played EverQuest for years before switching to WoW, and my main on there was a high level cleric. Because of needy people and how they're played in EQ, it burned the desire to play a priest right out of me. After doing some research, I now know that I would be able to solo a lot of the time (which is what drew me to the 'lock/hunter - i was a beastlord in EQ in the end.)
