Happy Jolly Magic Land was like nothing Jenny had ever seen before. Granted in her very short life she hadn't seen much. She did manage to save a few babies on a distant planet bent on destroying new life for fear of some ancient prophecy coming to life. That was fun, even if the babies were a bit smelly and cried a lot, she rather enjoyed saving the day. Then there was the planet Jumperdan where individuals wore matching jumpers and...well, that planet was where Jenny learned what a cult was. She left shortly after.
Happy Jolly Magic Land was a pit stop. A 'vacation' as she learned to say. She quite liked the bunches of candy floss that seemed to nourish the hordes of other vacationers. Purple being her favorite, it was sweet and turned her tongue colors. She quite liked it but now was discovering the orange candy floss was a bit tart and danced on her tongue. A strange taste she was growing to like very much. Jelly babies were a completely different story, those were absolutely delightful and she couldn't get enough of...
Wandering the colorful streets quite happily with her new pair of shoes comfortably cradling her toes (white converse, which she managed to trade from a young man at the bazaar who stole them from an old man who 'didn't need them') she hummed as she dug through her pocket and popped a black currant jelly baby in her mouth.
One of the happy little muppet puppet people was struggling with his bicycle and Jenny... being curious and helpful paused to help him with the chain.
"Right then, there you go," Jenny beamed as she reattached the chain and wiped her hands on the bottom of her shirt. She'd need to find a new one later seeing as hers was becoming tattered and filthy.
"My hero!" The scraggly little purple guy said gleefully, his great big googley eyes jumping about as he spoke.
"Quite like the sound of that..." Jenny winked as she patted his head.
She stood and dusted her knees off, her eyes narrowing as in the distance she saw familiar figures. Could it...could it be? Converse, long coat, hair going every which way and a red haired counterpart. A loud red haired counterpart.
Her smile could grow no larger, and she started to run. She quite liked the running bit, and she was more than excited to see if it truly was her father...so she could speak of her mini adventures.
She halted, her sneakers skidding through the gravel at the side of the road as she did so.
Should she just run up to him as though she hadn't seemingly 'died' in his arms? She didn't want to startle him...or bother him so she shrugged, slowing down her pace to follow and wait for the perfect moment.
