Even though Samir enjoyed taking his time after a class or a club meeting ended, chatting to his friends as he packed his things or just enjoying the calmness of the moment, he usually bolted as quickly as he could from Choir or Drama Club. It's not that he disliked those (with them being basically the only times he could hang out with Rémy, they were becoming the highlights of his week), but that he dreaded the fact that, whenever he took his time to leave, he'd invariably find his new friend arm in arm with his girlfriend. Samir knew he would very likely get used to it and that the feeling of disappointment would vanish very soon, but right now it was still too strong for him to bear - and right now, with everything else that was going on with his life, he'd much rather focus on more cheerful stuff.
However, this time the sound of Rémy's voice made him instinctively stop and look in the direction where the voice came. There was no girlfriend around, thank goodness, though the French boy was looking a bit nervous - and what did he need to ask him?, he wondered. If he was having girl problems and needed advice, he was afraid he'd be no good, though he'd try.
Curious, Samir walked towards him, his decision to rush to the Hufflepuff den abandoned for the moment. "Yes?"
