Characters: Samir Karim and Rémy Laurent Setting: After Drama Club has finished on Friday afternoon. Rating: F for Flailing... well possibly. Summary: Rémy finally gets around to asking a certain boy to the ball; and Samir finally learns a certain boy isn't actually straight. As an extra note I won't be writing Rémy's dialogue with 'accent', it's too hard to try and find the way that feels right for Rémy - so you'll all just have to imagine the accent. :) Status: Complete
It may have been a few days since he'd decided to but he was finally going to ask Samir to the Yule Ball. Rémy had only waited as long as he had because he didn't share any classes with him and he still had trouble navigating the strange hallways of the castle without guidance. So here he was waiting, after having waved goodbye to Sophie, for everyone else to go (he didn't want anyone else seeing him fumble in asking Samir out) so he could ask. Rémy almost started to panic when he saw Samir starting to leave and so he quickly approached him.
"Samir," he called out. "Can I be asking you something?"
English still wasn't something he had a complete grasp off quite yet; and he realised what he had asked might not make much sense. Even if most of the time when he catted to Samir, the boy seemingly had no trouble in understanding what it was he wanted to say.
"I mean to say, can I ask you something?" he asked more slowly and a little nervously, correcting his earlier question.
