Setting: Thursday, November 27
Summary: Chatting in the dormitory
Status: Incomplete
With OWLs looming ahead, fifth year had been far busier than previous years, but Leanne still managed to make time for sewing here and there, mostly focusing on dress robes. She'd already sewn up three dress robes and had a couple of unfinished ones she was still working on. Learning to sew with magic had been strange and tricky at first, but she was glad she had, as she was able to do much more with less time. The only drawback was that she couldn't do it at home. She couldn't wait until she was 17. And then she'd be allowed to wear contacts, too.
Taking out one of the unfinished dress robes and her sewing basket, she sat down and resumed working on them. She wondered what exactly they were for, but she guessed they'd find out eventually. In any case, if the Fashion Club did have a fashion show, maybe one or two of these dress robes might appear in it. They hadn't done much yet in the Fashion club, but Leanne had owled her mother to send some recent Muggle magazines that she could use to discuss Muggle fashion. She'd just got the magazines in the owlery that morning, and had them in a stack at the foot of her bed. She glanced at them before going back to sewing a sleeve onto the set of robes she was working on. Maybe she'd go through them tonight. She'd just finished sewing the sleeve on when the door opened.
