Characters: Cormac McLaggen and Allegra Flint Setting: One of the school's courtyards. Forward dated to Saturday mid-morning. Summary: Allegra tries to recitfy a serious problem aka Cormac and Allegra sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G ...maybe, although there's no trees involved. Status: Complete!
If anyone were to be watching at Allegra that moment they'd probably think she was a little nuts or that something was seriously wrong. After all she just kept pacing back and forth and for a moment would sit on a nearby bench before resuming the pacing and repeating the same steps over and over. The problem was it wasn't as simple an explanation as being declared insane or having to tell someone bad news; instead it lay in the fact she was wondering if she'd made the right decision. She'd sent Cormac an owl earlier asking if he could meet her at the small courtyard (luckily it was not the one where their last talk ended disastorously). Thoughts of the McLaggen party had been bothering her and how every time she'd gone to try and kiss Cormac somebody happened to interrupt them. Every. Single. Time.
Allegra had decided to just leave the whole thing be and just wait. But early that morning not long after she'd woken up she decided that no she didn't want to just wait until the right time or for Cormac to make his move. So she'd gotten ready, gone to breakfast and classes all very calmly, wrote the owl and sent it off and was now waiting here in the courtyard for Cormac to arrive. Allegra just wasn't sure how she should act whilst waiting and as such had subconsciously started pacing nervously; even though she knew she ought to stop lest Cormac got the wrong idea of why she called him there.
She tried to keep an ear out for any footsteps coming her way so she could stop pacing before Cormac caught her out. Unfortunately she wasn't quite that lucky.
