Hey all, it's Anne (Tandy/Dagger) here to say that I decided to pick up Betsy Braddock, aka Psylocke!

Straight from England, Betsy is a former model forced to retire and embrace her powers due to an injury that left her blind. Said injury also resulted during the same battle that killed her lover, so she's got a bit of trauma in her life, but after the initial shock of going somewhere new without her family (with whom she is very close) and without her sight she'll be looking for plenty of people to talk with, though it might take awhile to overcome those trust issues she has.

Also, she's another psychic, and an empath at that, so careful of your emotions around her (I'm looking at you, Remy!) since it's hard to keep a secret from her. Her control is lacking, but that just means she senses everything- and often gets sick as a result.

Also, to my fellow Brit... she'll find you, don't worry. XD

So, enough of the details (unless you want more, in which case you can check out her profile here.) I look forward to meeting everyone as Miss Betsy!

BLIND PSYLOCKE! OOOOHHH GIIRRRLLL, If Regan gets her way with you she will break you out of that shell and try to turn you into your bitch-ass self. She'll take that demure english rose and turn her into a ninja slut! Cheer up, sunshine!!

Callisto gives props to former models. AND SHES BLIND TOO (in one eye)!!! Maybe they'll get along? Bond?

Julian will be like "Ugh creepy new blind girl." And she's older, so he'll probably try to stay away. But you never know! They'll probably have classes together because their power sets are similar!

I wish this was more eloquent, but it's late and I've lost sanity.

Hahaha, I look forward to some Regan-Betsy interactions! I'm sure they'll have some amusing times where Betsy is completely confused by Regan and just has to go along with the girl for lack of any other choice. XD

Ohhh, and I think Betsy would really enjoy having a teacher figure she can look up to, especially one that can at least slightly relate to her ailment. ^^

	Lmao Regan will tote her around like a new Prada purse. And she can't see what Callisto looks like so she won't be repulsed/frightened by her rough exterior like the rest of the student body XD? Remy is still gonna try to make out with her, y'know. He will be confused when someone can read him. He's used to most telepaths staying out (since it's not usually work the effort) and the ones that can get in, he avoids. He will totally be all over her with his stupid strong emotions in a week or so. XD He loves playing the knight to girls who need aid!

Vanessa will form an opinion when she gets back ;_;

Jay will likely keep to himself. Though it'd be interesting to run them together when I'm back. He feels things STUPID strongly. He's hella passionate. Hello, headache? XD

Sean will love heeeeeeer! <3 I need to make him a standard response.

Welcome Betsy!! ^_^

I think Sooraya would be really kind to her. She favors caring for those in need, so I can see her seeking Betsy out to help her. And she doesn't have many things to hide (save her unusual feelings for Jay) so the psychic/empath abilities wouldn't be a deterrent.

Rogue would keep her distance a bit. Rogue does that with everyone, though, so it's nothing personal. ;)

Paige is going to seek her out to welcome her to the school. ^^ When new students show up, Paige's first reaction is "YAY NEW FRIEND!" ...but I can see how that might be a tad irritating.

Wanda will be wary of her, I think. She doesn't really like people getting into her head. I don't know why... maybe we'll have to play them together to sort it out?

Logan doesn't like telepaths who go around in people's heads without permission. He'll understand that it's beyond her control, but at the same time he'll stay away.

Anyone who avoids her or is wary of her I'm sure she won't take offense- as much as they don't want her in their heads, she doesn't want to be! Maybe once she learns a bit more control she'll try to reach out to the people who have avoided her. ^^

Yay for Sooraya! I feel Betsy would like her, especially if she's the nurturing type. They'll have a lot in common as a result. :D

I think Betsy will be a little put off by Paige initially, but won't be against befriending the girl. Just... surprised by her... enthusiasm. And love of Red Bull. XD

Wooo, Betsy! She looks really fun. :)

Lessee. Of my kids, I think Angelo is most likely to have the most to do with her. He's a couple years older, but age is just a number, right? ;P Anyway, he'll probably have occasion to flirt with her and chat with her quite a lot.

Jean-Paul is a little younger but also new to the school. He's semi into fashion or at least has "dated"/hung out with some models -- I don't know if he'd have heard of her? Maybe? In any case, a former model would definitely be on his radar, and he'd be interested in her. He's... regrettably anti-English, being a Francophone Québécois separatist, so he might be a little catty towards her in regards to her homeland. SORRY.

And Kevin will probably be his typical hostile self toward her, as usual, if they ever interact. He's such a charmer, that one. :[

Both being in college, I'm sure Betsy will want to get to know Angelo since they probably have similar schedules. And Betsy is pretty mature for her age, so I think they would get along nicely. ^^

Would Jean-Paul know English models? If not- especially if he's not fond of the English- he probably hasn't heard of her (since she hadn't gone international before the incident) and considering she's Captain Britain's twin... she probably will have words with him if he uses... choice words about England, but I don't think she'd hold a grudge. Kind of a love-hate relationship. XD

And for Kevin... at least she doesn't sparkle. ;D

Score one Betsy.

Warren will find her very attractive and very intriguing. He hasn't been this interested in a new girl in quite some time, probably (sorry, Jubilee).

Bobby thinks she's hot and has probably seen her picture before without realizing it. Uh, yeah, don't ask.

Sam is hospitable as always and will be very kind and polite to her.

Sofia is happy to talk to anyone and could always bother Betsy right out of her comfort zone.

Rahne is Betsy's roommate I believe and from across the pond as well in Scotland. She's still rather shy and stays in the room a lot, but I don't see any reason for the two of them not to get along. Rahne minds her business mostly and is very accomodating.

Emma Frost will probably take it upon herself to work with Betsy from time to time, as a fellow psi and because of her unique situation with her eyes. She also kind of likes to sink her hooks in as the prized mentor with the telepathic students before Xavier or Grey have a chance to.

Warren is very charming, so I'm sure Betsy would like to get to know him. I also believe they were love interests canon at one point, so there could even end up being a bit of attraction there. ;D

As for Bobby... I think I'll choose to refrain from asking at your urging. XD

I think Betsy will get along with Sam, especially since I believe he's close to his family much like she is.

Hahaha, Sofia is very full of energy and emotion- Betsy probably will be a little put off by this because of her control issues, but Sofia's a genuine person so she can't hold it against the girl!

Yay for roommates! Betsy will probably spend a good bit of her first couple of weeks in her room because of her disability so maybe they can get to know each other? Being far from home could even help them bond!

Awesome, I look forward to working with Emma! I don't know if she'll scare Betsy quite like she does the other students unless she feels scary to Betsy for some reason. XD

They WERE love intersts at one point, yes! So we could definitely play around with a flirtation there and see where it goes. He may look up some of her past shoots after he meets her and will definitely get a 'guardian angel' complex because of her vision impairment.

Needless to say, Bobby will be overly nice to her and be smiling the whole time they're talking.

Sam is definitely a family man and is having problems there right now, so if Betsy ever needs to talk? Sam's ear is always open. They're big ears.

Sofia is going to give Betsy such a headache. And then get very emotional if she found out what she was doing to the older girl, thus making it worse.

Rahne and Betsy could probably get very close these first few weeks. She's not going anywhere either so they can talk about people and life in general. Every time Betsy meets someone, she can come back for Rahne's horribly butchered, lying, supportive opinion. "Och, yes. Magneto is a wonderful person... >_>"

Emma definitely is a frightening person, even mentally. She's always up to something and horribly guarded.

All of this should be fun! If you ever want to throw up a thread, feel free. I'd actually kind of love to do a Betsy/Rahne/Sam log with him coming over to give Betsy a tour and Rahne fawning all over him until they leave. Two introductions for Betsy with one stone, too.

Hello, hello! I always feel somewhat inadequate in these welcome posts with just my lone pup. Sigh. Anyway, YAY, Betsy! I'm both excited for Blind!Betts and for BitchAssNinjaSlut!Betsy a la Regan. Just throwing that out there. lol

John is, as always, pretty "meh" about the whole thing. Then again, there's a nice bonus in that she's hot and blind so she can't see him checking her out, so that's kinda cool, he thinks. But he'll definitely keep his distance, not only because he's just not that much of a social butterfly (ha! See what I did there? Ah...) anyway, but also because he doesn't like telepaths to begin with and he really doesn't like the fact she can't even really control her telepathy.

So that probably wasn't very helpful at all, actually, but there you go, one antisocial jerkwad in a nutshell. :)
