Hello! My name is Meesha and I am notoriously bad at writing introductions.

I will be bringing the lovely Cessily Kincaid for your RPing pleasure. A little bit about her includes: she's new the the school, shortly arrived from Portland (she's got a lot of hometown pride and would gladly bend your ear to discuss it), she's a bit of a fan girl (comic books, what?), she wears a baseball hat and don't even get her started about boys unless you want to see her get all flummoxed and awkward. Her parents did the whole "Lets keep our daughter hidden, lest what will the neighbors think" bit before she transferred to Xavier's which, as you can imagine, did wonders for her ego. Still though, even if she wants people to like her, she'll still speak her mind if she feels strongly about something.

Hey Meesha! I'm Wes.

I'm notoriously bad at picking up responsibility. As evidenced by my multitude of characters. Right now I play Bobby Drake (Iceman), Warren Worthington III (Angel), Rahne Sinclair (Wolfsbane), Sofia Mantega (Wind Dancer), Emma Frost (White Queen), and Sam Guthrie (Cannonball). As for possible connections and plot...

On the boys, Bobby and Cessily are in the same grade and he can kind of relate to the 'parents being ashamed of you thing'. Even if not, he's a major extrovert and too friendly for his own good so they'll surely meet fast. Sam is a big sci fi nerd, so if that ever comes up maybe he and Cessily can watch a movie together or discuss things. Sam is more Whedon and Star Trek than comic book superheroes though. Warren is nice enough to girls, especially the younger ones. He crushes on very few of them, but he likes making them feel special.

For girls, Rahne is a sweetheart and will be nice to her. Sofia likewise, just with lots more energy and willingness to introduce herself. If Cessily gets close to Julian like in the comics, then they'll definitely see more of each other. Frost is Frost. She won't take the greatest interest in Cessily, but she's always up for power training.

All of these ideas sound wonderful. :)

I'm sure Cess will think Bobby is pretty funny. Cess can be a bit of a nerd at times what with her comic books. She spent a lot of time in seclusion, she had entertain herself some how, but she's totally down with the science fiction. So, I can definitely see movies happening with Sam. Warren will probably make Cessily blush, well, that is if she could.

I'd have to talk to the player to see how s/he feels - I am interested in some sort of Julian/Cessily BFFery, but I don't want to get ahead of myself now. I don't see why Cessily wouldn't be friends with either Rahne or Sofia.

And as for Frost, well, that's just fine with her! Cess will be all to happy to fly under her radar.

Hi, Meesha, and welcome! I'm Callirhoe and I've got three kids here: Jean-Paul Beaubier/Northstar (this journal), Angelo Espinosa/Skin (

espangelo), and Kevin Ford/Wither (

bad_touch)! I seem to be stuck in a rut of playing all boys recently, but don't worry, they're good kids. Well, some of them. Well, okay, Angelo is, anyway.

JP here is also new to school (about a week ago, anyway), and is/was an athlete and celebrity back home in Québec. Depending on whether Cessily follows Winter Olympics news, she might have heard of him -- the information about his life that's public is handily summed up here. He's sort of an aloof and arrogant sort and probably wouldn't have all that much to do with Cessily, but we could see how that goes. It's sort of hard to predict how he'll react to people, actually. He's an ~enigma~, oooh.

Angelo is in college and is the oldest student on campus (he's 23, eek!), but he's super friendly and the age difference between him and most of the rest of the students doesn't really bother him. He talks to everybody, teases almost everybody, and flirts with every girl ever, so I'm SURE he'll find Cessily sooner rather than later. He's also been sort of a mentor/big brother type for those odd-looking mutants who can't easily go out in public, since he's definitely freakish looking in his natural state, so if she's ever feeling insecure about that, he would be more than happy to talk to her and try to make her laugh, 'cuz that's what he does.

Last but maybe most important for your purposes, Kevin! I am SO pleased to have Cessily around for him, you can't even imagine. <3 He's definitely not the life of the party around here -- depressed, mopey, often outright hostile, and hard to get along with. In his better moments, he can be pretty nice, actually, and is creative and has sort of a good sense of humor, though most people wouldn't see that. Because of his powers, he's wary of letting anyone close and acts like a total jerk to keep people away if they show signs of wanting to befriend him. I would LOVE to see how he reacts to figuring out that Cessily is inorganic and therefore his powers will have no effect on her. He might be more willing to spend time in her company than he does most people, though I imagine he'd definitely be wary of her at first in case she's one of those happy sparkly girls.

Hello thar! Thank you. I can't wait to start playing with all of your peeps. As far as JP is concerned, Cessily's pretty fair - she's one of those live and let live, "You don't have a problem with you, I don't have a problem with me" type of people (once you get to know her that is...) that rarely engages in gossip, so she ends up putting up with a lot of stuff.

Sure, yeah! For Angelo - I welcome any and all interaction. Physical-mutates need to stick together. She might have a moment here and there where she gets all wistful for Portland or her parents. It'll be nice to have that kind of support network.

And, yes, yes, yes yes for Kevin. Cess is sooo not one of those happy-sparkly girls. She's pretty grounded, pretty even keeled, wise beyond her years, that one. But I would absolutely love for Cess and Kevin to meet and figure stuff out and be like "Woah. Yay!"

Hi Meesha, welcome to the game! I'm Tori, one of the mods here so if you have any questions or anything feel free to ask! I've got 4 boys: Kurt/Nightcrawler, Pietro/Quicksilver, Jono/Chamber, and Josh/Elixir! Kurt is a fellow junior so he has probably had the most interaction so far with Cessily out of my characters. Anyways, I'm always up for plotting and threading, my AIM is hourglasseyes87 :)

And yes, we just finished a memory loss plot. If you check the OOC community there's a mod post here (http://asylums.insanejournal.com/academy_x_ooc/36141.html) that explains the details, but basically everyone in the school lost their memories last Wednesday-Sunday and now everything is back to normal!

I've got four kids right now (okay, kids is a misnomer for one of 'em): Remy/Gambit, Vanessa/Copycat, Jay/Icarus, and Sean/Banshee. You can find me on AIM at WeekendRenee. Let's see... Remy might have the most right away with Cessily, I think. When he comes back (I'm about to go on a hiatus! Boo! :<) from his jaunt down to New Orleans at least. He's currently on a mission to kiss just about every girl in school on a bet. Even without the bet, he would probably try, just for the experience. He's a high school senior, a total charmer and huge flirt, and currently not making himself very popular after his breakup with Rogue. He lost his moral compass, but he is still super friendly, if cocky, and loves making new friends.

Vanessa just ran off after Rogue found out she's working as a spy for Weapon X, so we'll have to see how they interact after she returns to the mansion in a while.

Jay keeps rather to himself still, but he does spend a good deal of time with Sooraya, so he finds himself coming to know many of those in the junior year.

Sean loves everyone! Seriously, he's a huge teddy bear and loves his job as a teacher and counselor at the school. He especially likes working with kids who may not have a high self-esteem, wanting everyone to see how amazing they are.

And while we finished up the memory loss plot, we've got more a-coming! Check out the calendar, and keep an eye on it, as we update it with new plots as we get them. You can also check out the plot thread and contribute~ We love brainstorming there.

Hi Samma! Thank you, everyone has been so wonderful and nice so far, a very fantastic first impression I have to say. I can't wait to get Cess involved in the game. Letsee what we got here...

As for Remy, if he tries to kiss her, after her initial shock, she might throw a mercury fist in his face. Whose a tomboy, what? If Vanessa doesn't have a problem with Cess, Cess doesn't have a problem with Vanessa, not that Cess will probably even register on her radar. Cess will get along with Jay, he seems like he's sensible. And as for Sean, well, Cess will avoid any bone crushing bear hugs he has to offer, but will otherwise will think he's nice.

I've been waiting for a girl who won't take a lip lock lightly! XD He could use the knock. He'll be back April 10 or so (or whenever I get a good chunk of my thesis done). We can see from there! Vanessa probably won't have a chance to meet Cess for a while, since after the Weapon X raid where she comes back to the mansion, she's getting carted off to an apartment in town or something equally as far out of the way. She'll try to be friends or at least talk to someone who didn't know her before she went traitor on the mansion, though, when she's allowed, I think.

Jay could use friends! If she gets along with Sooraya, I'm sure Jay will get along with her, even if he has a hard time getting on with those in his year. Sean will take it easy on the bone-crushing hugs when she shies away. He'll enjoy working with her and try to convince her she'd love to take drama or public speaking (his only classes are elective ones!).

Remy does love his firecrackers. That might just make him like her more. But he's good at being just friends, so he'll probably dial it down after stealing his kiss. (And after asking Regan: Mais, if she punched me in de face after I got de kiss, does dat mean I get bonus points? Or negative points?)

Yay! Redheads unite~ Can he complain about how hard it is to find a redhead playby who smiles besides the Weasley boys? Oh, wait, that's all me. XD I see the beginning of an awesome friendship all the same.

HI MEESHA! ^_^ I'm Missy, and I'm 1/3 of the mod team over here at Academy. XD I play Paige, Rogue, Sooraya, Wanda, and Logan. I'm totally down for any plotting/chatting/playing... my aim is jeanxskirt.

I think Paige is most likely to befriend Cessily. She's really friendly and forward, and would definitely be nice to the silver girl. Rogue is a bit reserved, and probably won't approach her. (Think they could touch? O_O Since Kevin can touch her...) Sooraya would be respectful, but is also a little shy. Wanda's older, but friendly. Logan can definitely be the one who flew out the Blackbird to pick her up in Oregon.

Lemme know if you've got ideas!! :)

HI MISSY!!!

Hooray for all the shine-y characters. Rogue and Cess might be able to touch, all though I read, once, in an issue of X-Men that Rogue absorbed all of the kidlets powers to take down a bid bad, Mercury included. :( So...I could go either way. I can see Cess being friends with Jay and Sooraya so, Paige makes sense. I'd be down for a Cess and Sooraya friendship, too. :)

And and and, yes to Logan and Cess - would this be something you might want to scene with me? Set for like Sunday or Monday, or whenever is good, considering the memory!fail?

Perhaps Logan can have been gone during the memory loss? I don't think I posted him at all during that time.... either that or Sunday or Monday... he left with Remy, what, Tuesday? So as long as it's before then. We can always say that he was out and about during the memory loss week and it didn't affect him.

Hi there Meesha! (Is this starting to feel like a broken record yet? XD) Great to have you here! I'm Teresa, and I play Theresa Cassidy. She's 19 and a little bit wild, so I'm not sure she'd have much contact with Cessily, but she'd be friendly if she does come across her.

You did miss a bit of a big plot, but not to worry! We have more coming up. I'm sure one of the mods has filled you in already, we've got a fancy calendar and everything.

I'm looking forward to getting to know more about Cessily! I don't know very much about her...yet!

Hey, hey Meesha, I'm Lynn! I pull the strings for Regan Wyngarde/Lady Mastermind, Julian Keller/Hellion, and Callisto/Alexandra Gabler.

Callisto's a prof... for physical education. Totally chill, total slack, more interested in the students on a personal one-on-one mentorship rather than these stiff classroom lectures and the curriculums and the rules and blahblahblah. She tries to make her lessons fun, but always weaving in some bigger teamwork/life lesson in there. She has a soft spot for kids with physical mutations that have trouble fitting in, so there's always that opportunity there for some mentorship if you want. But she's a pretty scary lady! So she's typically driving everyone away with her scary eye and jaded attitude.

Regan isn't looking to make many friends here at Xaviers, but whether you fear her or love her, you're A-Okay in her books. You don't even have to respect her, just don't let her catch wind of that. She thinks shes the best thing since sliced bread, looks down on almost everyone, puts herself first, and smirks like she knows some secret no one else does. This sassy bitch is quick to quip, and wont take lip from anyone. Careful, careful! She's a total loose canon, too. So let me know if you wanna rub Regan the wrong/right way, and we can definitely play with something there!

And, last but not least, Julian Keller! I know you mentioned some BFFery above, so lets discuss for sure! IdDevlin on AIM, or

princedevlin for my CDJ!

Hi Lynn! What a collection of characters!

I'm sure Cess will be totally freaked out be Callisto, Cess just kind of wants to fly under the radar. And as far as Regan, well, Cess isn't passing any judgments any time soon. So, I think they can live in symbiosis. In a "you stay over there, I'll stay over here" kind of way. Cess doesn't engage in gossip, so that's good too.

AND last but definitely not least, Julian mo-foin' Keller. Are you down with their BFFery? I've always thought their friendship was interesting. Here's someone whose kind of spoiled brat and yet he's got a friend, whose A.) a girl and is B.) someone with a physical mutation. I think it really lends to his character, gives him some depth that he cares about her so much - or at least, that's my impression from the comics. I can swing whichever way that you want. :D

With Julian I'm totally down! Completely game with it. Yes, Yes, Yes. Right now he's-- blahragdgsh too much to explain and we'll be ranting and blabbering on for ever flooding up this section. Let's definitely start building those friendship blocks and plan out! I know with some recent events he's going to start--- okay I'm already beginning, I feel it XD, and why should we prematurely spoil anything for these chumps?

Great! I'm waiting to hear back from Missy about maybe snagging Logan to do a "get Cessily to the school" scene, barring that I'm just going to have her post to her journal saying "Hey, I'm new" or something along those lines.

As far as contacting me, here is good, or at my CDJ, or e-mail... I'm pretty easy to get a hold of although I'm really bad about being on AIM in the evening. E-mail I check constantly. I'm mostly online during the day time, but I hope to be online tonight.

Greetings, fellow Earth citizen! I figured that was at least different than "hi," anyway...

So! I'm Amanda and only have one character here, Pyro, who's mostly X2-era movie canon but with a little comicverse personality for flavor (i.e., he's at least a redeemable asshole, though still a snarky little brat even at the best of times). John's pretty much indifferent to most people unless they catch his attention (for better or worse), so he's kind of "blah" about Cess. However, he also has a secret fondness for comics, so they at least have a bit of common ground there should they interact somewhere down the road.

Hey there, nice to meet you!

I'm Anne (iolith737) and I play Tandy/Dagger and as of tonight will be starting with Betsy/Psylocke.

Tandy is the most likely to interact with Cessily, as she is happy to meet anyone and everyone, regardless of what they look like, how they act, or what their age is. She's a little bundle of energy (and her powers only add to that) and she's always willing to do stuff!

Betsy will probably be a little withdrawn at first, since I'm playing the blind version of Psylocke and, until she gets her bearings around campus, will probably be a bit freaked out. However, she's always willing to talk to anyone, though it will take her awhile to become close friends with anyone for awhile.

So, welcome, and I look forward to RPing with ya! ^-^
