"Ah." Laurie ducked his head, feeling a little foolish for suggesting such a thing. He didn't normally allow such desires to surface in public; it was the sort of thing Ben would say and as a general rule of thumb one did not do what Ben did. "Now that you put it like that, I see your point. Like I said, I will leave the decor to you. I shall only commit a terrible faux pas otherwise."
Sipping his tea, he tried to force his thoughts to what he was actually good at. "I shall stick to my budgets. That's rather more my thing than balloons and banners."
