"Not long at all, no," Celeste said with a shake of her head. She tucked a golden girl behind one ear before sipping the tea she'd prepared with just a splash of milk (just as her grandmother took it). "My Portkey from Lille arrived on Friday at noon."
"And she dutifully came to see her grandparents first thing Saturday morning," Narcissa said with a pleased nod. "Which is how I've already coerced her into the office by Monday mid-afternoon."
Celeste laughed and shook her head. "No coercion was necessary. I'd never turn down such wonderful company, and it's nice to have a bit of adult conversation as my evening will be spent with the youngest Master Malfoy. Scorpius and Rose desperately need a night out." She shot an amused look at Mr Higgs. "I suspect the conversation will be rather one-sided as, while he is undoubtedly the most brilliant baby to ever live, he is only six months old."
