"I'd say Theo and Draco, too, but I don't think either one would care about us in any way, so definitely those two," he said, laughing. "And yes, Theo, on the list of things right after all of this."
Steve shrugged. "Isn't this why we're here? To make things right? Just because I can't fix what's back at home, it doesn't mean that I don't want to do it." He sighed. "I think this is part of why I disliked Necrohelm so much. It wasn't just the magic. I've learned to work with magic before coming here. Wanda is incredibly powerful. It was the fact that I was... useless. I couldn't help in any way. I don't know magic, they didn't want my strength or my comfort. I was barely tolerated." He hadn't looked at it that way. He'd been too annoyed with the situation to be an adult. "I did a very good version of sulking," he said with a sigh. "I should have seen that, and you are right, things are different when your limits aren't exactly the norm." He smiled a little. "Although you told me your feelings about planes and parachutes."
Steve looked at the shoes he'd been given. He ended up picking a pair of blue moccasins, a vast difference from his usual combat boots. "The worst part of these outfits is that my shield goes with nothing." He thought for a moment. "I don't mean to underestimate the Dora, but they are human. I can get them just by outlasting them. I can literally do it all day, but at a certain point, their bodies will give out. You don't even have to hurt them badly, just enough to wear them out. At least when they don't put fail-safes in your arm." He brushed Bucky's cheek. "Come on, let's see if we can turn into mermaids. The theoretical discussions can wait for later."
