"It would have been very inconvenient for me to be stuck here with a bunch of Muggle Gryffindor-types." He honestly couldn't imagine anything worse, and poor Draco had had to deal with it for months it seemed. "You're very lucky I arrived to save you from all of them." He grinned at Draco, only halfway kidding. "Well, between the two of us I'm sure we can figure out the device and then improve it. If you'd like the help, that is."
Theo considered what Draco was saying, and it did have a certain appeal to it. If another version of yourself was living your live and dealing with...everything...why not want to stay? "You've put a lot of thought into this then, haven't you? I guess you've had the time." He wasn't sure how he felt about Draco making friends outside their circle, but that was a thought for another time. "Definitely a lot of thought. You'll have to tell me more about this Necrohelm; in detail." If Draco was this excited over the place, it must have been very impressive.
"I suppose he was not the most objectionable professor we suffered through," Theo said, wondering if he was reading something that wasn't there into the way Draco said friend when referring to Lupin, and tucked the thought away for later. "Now that does sound amazing. What was the base component?" Potions weren't his passion the way they were for Draco, but that didn't mean he wasn't interested in the creation of something new. "The North Pole and Santa sound much more interesting than machines that wanted to kill people, but was there a purpose to any of these visits, or does this place just...deposit you somewhere to see if you survive? Is it entertainment for that conductor?"
