Stephen watched the robots emerge. There were a lot of them, to be sure, but they had two advantages the robots did not: magic, and an Asgard-trained Jotun. Loki's dagger strikes were quick and sure, and Stephen couldn't help but be impressed.
A group of robot marched towards him. Sensing danger, the Cloak of Levitation lifted him into the air. Slipping on the sling ring, he created a portal at the robots' neck level which opened to a point back along the highway in the direction the three of them had come from. He closed the portal, decapitating the robots with a single, clean stroke. Their metal bodies fell down, useless and inert without the heads attached.
He landed back on the highway and took a moment to watch Loki carve a path of destruction through the rest of their opponents. It truly was a sight to behold. He seemed to have the situation well in hand as he moved like a one-man army.
Stephen went over to Theo. Now was the time for him to shift his priorities to protecting Theo so the younger wizard could focus on collecting what he wished to from the convoy.
"Shall we head for the truck you want to search?" he said. "I can take care of any enemies we face while you look."
