Messy strands of blonde hair lifted briefly up as she momentarily regarded her walking companion's position, ascertaining his status. Without him pushing any issues, the status quo was reserved and she had no reason to react, though the facial expression was one of apparent cold focus.
She was accessing the internal network. It was a much more primitive machine designed for a far narrower range of tasks. The T-X, by contrast, was specifically made for gaining control over reprogrammed Skynet assets. False data was sent and security access implanted.
"Stand clear," she instructed and the great hulk motored back to life as she jumped down off the chassis. It did not, however, target either of them. In fact, it ignored both.
Normally, she would have simply followed the most logical course of action, but then glanced over at Marcus, considering what he represented... An experienced member of the team she was attempting to blend into. His opinion held weight.
"I've secured the data," she explained, deciding that elaboration on motives might help with trust. Steve had explained that. Maybe it would work here?
"I can bring it back to base with us. It's strong. It could assist with defences, but doing so may arouse suspicion. Allowing it to resume course might be best. What would you do?"
