"Probably it is best to leave it for when our lives aren't in danger," he said. "It's a lot of information that makes a lot more sense when you know our history." He smiled a little. "We all assume that people do, because it's as much history as it is our life, but we definitely don't want to kill each other and we helped each other on more than one occasion." And he had fancied himself in love for a long time, but he didn't mention that.
Draco looked at Remus and smiled. "I think our lives are just as intertwined, but in different ways. Our society included thousands of people, now it includes a handful of us. I know people say that it's about the whole group, but the wizards and witches here, the ones from our reality, share a common history, memories, and family ties." He looked at James. "I know what Sirius thought of family ties, but like it or not, they unite us. It doesn't make us best mates, but it does give a common history.'
He shrugged. "Can't say that I'm pleased that we're here. I would have preferred Necrohelm and I would like a bigger contingent from home that doesn't disappear overnight.... I guess I'm not any happier, but that doesn't meant that I can't try to make the situation a little better."
