"Oh I know. I did some very wrong things, and I was lucky that my father came to the rescue. He didn't save just me and Eric, but most of the habitats of Atlantica and anyone under its rein," she said very serious. "I hope that I've learned from my mistakes and I never do something so stupid."
She looked at Abigail, worried. "Are you all right? I didn't mean to make you sad, and I guess you're right. I can't imagine what I would have been like if I'd grown up with Ursula." She shivered at the idea. "However, I hope that we can give them enough hope to make them better."
Ariel smiled. "Of course we'll free them, but they haven't spent all of their lives in this camp," she said, growing serious. "I don't think people last long in this camp, but outside isn't much better. We need to find a way to fix things for them, something more long term."
She squeezed Abigail's hand. "We shall fight and we can be the heroes these people need."
