Re: Theo and Loki - Working the Supply Chain
It was fairly apparent that Theo was as bored as he was. He was sure that many non-magical humans had been put through the same work day after day for many years now. It was really a testament to the resilience of humans. Not all that long ago, he would’ve never imagined that humans could be so tough, what with how very mortal they are. If he needed more evidence that he’d been wrong about Midgardians, he certainly had it now.
“It is quite tedious,” Loki agreed readily. “I wish I knew. Hopefully not long, though I suppose part of the problem is that no one seems to know exactly who we’re supposed to be saving here. I’m starting to think some of the others were correct. We should just get everyone out of here. It seems to be the fastest and easiest way to save who we were intended to. Though I suspect it will anger the overlords and could make things more difficult for us.” He looked around then as they carried yet more boxes. “In the meantime, we should assess as many details as we can. How many are there, are there any patterns to their patrols, that sort of information could be helpful for when we leave.”
